# Making Your First Trade

### Make Your First Trade

To start trading on **PRED**, we require a funded wallet using **BASE USDC**.

* **Minimum deposit:** $1
* **Maximum deposit:** No upper limit

Once your wallet is funded, your balance becomes immediately available for trading across all markets on PRED.

#### Trading Interface

We design the PRED interface to feel like a modern trading exchange — **fast, data-rich, and intuitive**, especially for retail users providing the most simplest UI experience

On the right of the screen, you’ll find the **Order Form** — your control center for placing trades.

Here, you can express your view on any market by taking a position:

* **YES** — if we believe the current price (implied probability) is **lower** than the true probability of the outcome
* **NO** — if we believe the current price is **higher** than the true probability

#### Placing a Trade

To enter a position:

1. Select your market
2. Choose **YES** or **NO**
3. Enter the **USDC amount** you want to trade
4. Review the price and confirm the trade

When **buying**, you can place orders by entering a **USDC amount** directly. When **selling**, orders are placed by USDC amount aswell.

Orders execute against the **live order book**, and open positions appear in your **Portfolio panel**.

* Track **live price movements**

* **Close positions at any time** to lock in profit or manage risk
